Chicken Mo:Mo
Chicken Momos Recipe is a delicious and simple momos recipe filled with juicy minced chicken. A street food special found mostly in Nepal. The fillings for these momos are quite simple and light. Serve this momos with tomato special sauce.
Ingredients
- Minced chicken 1kg
- Onion 500 gm
- Spring onion 50 gm
- Coriander 30 gm
- Salt As required
- Pepper 1 tblspn
- Ajinamoto(msg) 10 gm
- Momo masala 15 gm
- Chicken masala 10 gm
- Vineger 20 ml
- Soy sauce 20 ml
- Ginger garlic paste 3 tspn
- Flour 1 kg
- Butter 20 gm
Methods
- At first finely chop onion, spring onion, coriander.
- Mix minced chicken, fine chop onion, spring onion, coriander, salt, pepper, momo masala, chicken masala, soy sauce, vineger, gg paste, butter and keep in freeze for 10 min.
- Make the dough little tight, wrap it and leave for 5 min for proving.
- Keep the mix minced chicken in dough and give it a shape then steam it for 10 min.
- Serve hot with pickle.
Momo Pickle
Ingredients
- Tomato 500gm
- Onion 50gm
- Garlic 10gm
- Green chily 35gm
- Coriander 15gm
- Salt As required
- Pepper 10gm
- Ajinamoto 5gm
- Soya sauce 10ml
- Turmeric powder 5gm
- Vineger 15ml
- Peanuts 60 gm
- Sesame seed(teel) 15 gm
- Oil 15ml
- Timur 5gm
Methods
- Cut tomato, onion, garlic, green chilly, coriander and keep them aside.
- Heat the fraying pan put oil and fry garlic and onion for 2 min then add tomato and green chilly and cook it.
- Add salt, pepper, soya sauce, vinegar, turmeric pwd, timur and cook until it cooks well.
- Add peanuts, sesame seed, coriander when it cooks well.
- Leave a while for cooling and blend it well.
- Check the seasoning and serve it with momo.
Momos can be serve with side salad also. The portioning is 10 pieces per plate or it can be serve as your choice. Mostly, In nepali 10 pieces is served in restaurant and hotels as portioning size.
