Nepali Flavour Pasta Recipe – Chef Rabi

Ingredients

  • Pasta boiled – 450gm (macaroni or penne)
  • Cooking oil – 40ml
  • Fenugreek seed – 5gm
  • Onion finely chopped – 15gm
  • Turmeric powder – 1/2 half tsp
  • G.G paste – 1tsp
  • Carrot thinly sliced – 25gm
  • Tomato puree – 1cup
  • Chilli paste – 1/2  tbsp as your taste
  • Salt – to taste
  • Cumin powder roasted – 1/2 tbsp
  • Cabbage roughly cut – 200gm
  • Green leafy vegetables – 60gm
  • Coriander leaf – 10gm Dil leaf -10gm

 

Method of Preparation

  • Boil the pasta and keep aside.
  • Heat the oil in a pan, crackle the fenugreek seed. Saute the onion till golden brown.
  • Add all the spices such as turmeric powder, gg paste, cumin powder and chilli paste. Add tomato puree and cook for 2-3 minutes.
  • Add carrot, cabbage, green leafy vegetable and cook for 5 minutes.
  • Add boiled pasta and mix it well.
  • Add the coriander leaf from you remove from the heat.
  • Check the seasoning before you serve.
