Chef Lal Tamang is a dynamic, innovative, and passionate chef with more than 25 years of experience in professional cooking and kitchen operations in 5-star establishments like The Everest Hotel Katmandu, Marriott Hotel Bahrain, Sheraton Hotel Doha, Jumeirah Emirates Towers, Jumeirah Bab Al Shams, Meydan Groups, Al Murooj Rotana. Currently working as an Executive Chef at Al Raha Beach Hotel, Abu Dhabi.
Chef Tamang is a culinary innovator, with exceptional culinary skills known for producing top- quality, creative dishes and contributing to revenue growth. He is proficient in handling all aspects of kitchen management including monitoring food production and aesthetic presentation of food and beverages.
Chef Lal Tamang has already won the Silver Lifetime Achievement Award and Gold Award as Executive Sous Chef of the Year Award at the Middle East Hospitality Excellence Award 2019. As this is the biggest achievement and award in the culinary history of Nepal. This year also, he is nominated in the final round for the Executive Chef Excellence Lifetime Award 2020, 6th Middle East Hospitality Excellence Award which is organized by Hospitality Group.
